The Appalachian Grown™ branding program identifies local farm products in stores and restaurants and at other businesses. The logo may be used by our partner farms, distributors, restaurants, and grocers. Displayed with food and farm products, the Appalachian Grown label helps consumers, retailers, and wholesalers better distinguish and identify local agricultural products.
Individual farms, farmer groups and tailgate markets may apply for certification. Restaurants, distributors, and grocers that purchase Appalachian Grown certified products, may become Appalachian Grown Partners. Currently, participation in the program is free. Farms and businesses in these areas are eligible.
