The
Commissioner’s Food Safety Forum formerly known as AgFIRST is set
for its 5th annual event on Tuesday, August 18, 2009 from 9:00 AM –
2:30 P.M at the Kerr Scott Building located on the NC State Fairgrounds.
We use this event to educate our Congressional Delegation, industry, and
partnering agencies on food safety and defense. In light of recent occurrences
that have been making headlines, this year’s event should be our largest
audience ever exceeding 500 for this one day affair. Listed below are some of
the planned speakers slated to present at our forum. More speakers are being
