“Whip It Up” Class 1 of Live Food Class Series

Raw foods overview with preparation using a blender. Recipes include a yummy Breakfast Pudding, Sensational Smoothies, Divine Green Goddess Dressing, Salad Secrets, and a Dreamy Chocolate Dessert. Superfoods like Chia and Hemp Seeds will be featured. Enjoy a garden tour, too!

Individual class fee is $55 and includes a light, balanced organic meal. This class can also be taken as part of a three-class Live Food Class Series at $150 for the three-classes (August 8, 15 and 22).

Fresh at Farmers Markets
From peaches to pears to pawpaws, it’s a fabulous time to find fruit at area markets.
 
This past Saturday was the first market day of the season for vendor Fresh Pearspective, who offer, you guessed it, pears! Their booth at Asheville City Market was filled with Bosch and Seckel varieties to buy and sample.
