Event description:
Need additional ideas for the abundance of zucchini, cucumbers and tomatoes coming from your vegetable garden? Instructor Denise Barratt provides nutritional information and prepares recipes that utilize the great number of healthy vegetables at this time of year. Dishes that will be made in class include Tuscan Skillet, Cucumber and Tomato Salad, and Zucchini Pancakes.

Barratt is a registered dietitian/nutritionist who promotes health and wellness through good food and lifestyle choices. An experienced teacher in a variety of settings, she is an avid gardener and owner of Health Concepts Nutrition Therapy.

The workshop will be held at The North Carolina Arboretum. To register, please call 828-665-2492 x317 or visit us online at www.ncarboretum.org
The class is $16 for Arboretum Society Members or $22 for the general public.
