Fresh at Farmers Markets
Tart, little cherry tomatoes and sweet, pear-shaped Sungolds are showing up at farmers tailgate markets. Slicing tomatoes won’t be ripe until later in the summer. But green tomatoes, which Southern cooks bread in cornmeal and fry, are available.
