Help Sustain ASAP’s Work

When you give to ASAP, you ensure that we can continue to work toward strengthening the economy and preserving mountain heritage by creating and expanding a food system that is locally owned and controlled in Western North Carolina and the Southern Appalachians. The loss of Appalachian family farms threatens rural heritage, weakens the regional economy, and prevents development of a sustainable local food system.

Help us:

  • increase access to fresher, better tasting food;
  • assist local farms so they can stay in business and preserve the values of rural communities;
  • protect the natural beauty of our mountains by preserving farmland;
  • and strengthen the local economy by supporting local, family farmers and by keeping the mountains beautiful so visitors will come and support our businesses.

You can help make sure that our valuable work continues by becoming a member of our new giving society. Please consider joining us as an ASAP Sustainer for as little as $50. When you join us at this level or higher, you will receive a local food bumper sticker to show that you are stepping up to the challenge to end the loss of family farms.
